Haven’t been bringing Twinkle to Dog cafe in a LOOOONNNNNGGGGG while. Decided to sneak a date with her together with Sumi! We headed off to Furry Pets Connection Cafe! @ 100 Guillemard Road. It’s located at the old badminton hall. There’s ample parking at that area.

We went on a Sunday Afternoon.

Order of Pot Pie for Twinkle and some snacks for us.

The Lamb Pot Pie (SGD4.50) is really good. Tried a little myself. Nice pastry crust with seasoning-less lamb. Twinkle finished all of it!

Exploring everywhere..

Happy Twinkle! We popped by to the Retail shop, just 2 glass doors away. Where we saw 3 westies inside!

The owner of the cafe have 3 Westies and another dog herself! The Westies Gang ROX!! haha.

The Cafe is pretty quiet for a Sunday Afternoon. Only 2 dog owners. Would have loved if there’s more doggies so that Twinkle can socialise more. Really hope that the cafe picks up on business cause it’s really quite a cozy place to laze around. I liked it there. The thing about having a dog cafe is that it’s a difficult business to maintain. (This cafe comes with a retail shop and grooming svc. Probably these will help them out). The pool of dog owners are just so small. Location-wise, not very accessible if you don’t have transport. Thank God I drive so it’s not a problem for me.

My only suggestion for improvement is to set up baby-gates/play pen to block off the entrance/exits. Since I let Twinkle off-leash in the cafe, my own fear is that she runs out of the door if another customer enters or she can get kiap by the heavy glass doors.

To go or not to go

Have this crazy, ok not crazy, I would say spontaneous idea to pack up and just fly to another country alone. To rejuvenate myself, to just go on an adventure by myself, to experience a different atmosphere, a different culture. I just want to break free. This might be a spur of a moment thought. But it has been running through my head for the past wk. I just want to run around with my camera.

I began thinking of places which would be safe for a solo-female traveler and all that came to my mind is Japan, Australia, TW, HK. (See the logical part of me began.) Cool weather would be great to escape fr the heat in SG. TW and HK are in summer now with high temp and I last checked, Jpn is a fine temp of 18-26 degrees. NICE~ Aussie will be having WINTER! woohoo~
